The Company

AB Lawn Care was established during 2014 servicing Hull and the surrounding towns and villages.  We have a genuine interest in quality lawns and the business has grown through recommendations and repeat business, we undertake domestic and commercial work. 

We appreciate that every lawn is different and has varying needs, we discuss your requirements analyse your lawn and together with our years of experience and testing equipment advise you on the most appropriate chemicals and treatment to achieve a lawn to meet your needs and within your budget.  

We recommend the treatments for your specific requirements endeavouring to achieve a weed-free lush green lawn for your enjoyment, we also undertake scarifying, aerating and other areas of lawn care. 

 A B Lawn Care has recently invested in the most up to date machinery for treating large domestic and commercial lawns enabling accurate spraying techniques.

About Me

From a very young age, I enjoyed watching Hull City football team which then played at Boothferry Park, I was fascinated by the lush green stripes of the pitch and that is where my appetite for lawns began. 

My desire for quality lawns continued and at an early age, I was mowing lawns and understanding lawn requirements and took a course in Practical Horticulture where I gained my initial spraying certificates.

My enthusiasm for lawns was constant and during the early part of my career, I gained a huge amount of knowledge and experience working with  Stuart at YPI.  The work covered Pristine Bowling Greens, Winter Sports Pitches, Grass Tennis Courts and Cricket Squares. I appreciate the time that they have both gave me which has been key to my personal development.

Along with AB Lawn Care, I have also worked for Hull City as a Groundsman while working at  KCOM Stadium for over two and a half years, Held the position of Head Groundsman at Lincoln City Football Club and currently Head Groundsman at Hull Kingston Rover. 

I am constantly developing my knowledge in respect of the latest legislations and researching the most up to date chemicals that are unique to the trade designed to treat specific problem areas whilst encouraging a lush green lawn.
